Grace is the construction of a new 42-unit seven-story building in Maverick Square, in East Boston. The new building will include all low-income elderly housing. It will be seven stories, and 39,067 square feet. The lot size will accommodate 5 parking spaces, one of which will be handicapped accessible.

Grace Apartments was officially opened on July 25, 2024. It is fully leased.

The State invested over $4.2 Million in funding to this project in soft subsidy, not including the tax credits that were awarded. The City of Boston, through the Mayor’s office of Housing, invested $2.5 Million of subsidy into this beautiful building.

The grand opening was attended by Secretary of Housing and Livable Communities, Edward Augustus Jr., State Representative, Adrian Madaro, City Councilor District I, Gabriela Coletta Zapata, Chief of Housing for the City of Boston and Director of the Mayor’s Office of Housing, Sheilla Dillon, Director of Capital Deployment for Mass Housing, Kathleen Evans, and from the Private sector, Jonathan DaSilva, Senior Manager of Workforce Initiatives for CVS Health, lastly by David Ennis, President of Affirmative Investments.
