Tanya Hahnel
Project Manager
Tanya specializes in the financial analysis of real estate development, with significant experience in asset management and real estate project management, as well. With a B.A. from Swarthmore College as a math and economics double major, Tanya earned her Masters degree at Northeastern in Urban and Regional Policy.
She began her career working for a consortium of 8 cities and towns North of Boston to underwrite, finance, and manage their HOME-funded housing portfolio. She then moved on to become a partner at Traggorth Companies, where she worked on a range of housing development across Massachusetts, including landmark preservation projects, Low Income Housing Tax Credit developments, mixed income and market rate developments in Gateway Cities, and non-profit commercial spaces financed with New Market Tax Credits. At the East Boston CDC, Tanya is now involved in the acquisition and development of the CDC’s properties.
